Important Notes
- The collection fee is 900 yen per item for collections on or after October 1, 2026 (for collections up to September 30: 600 yen if the longest of width, depth and height is under 2 m, 1,200 yen if it is 2 m or more)
- If you already have disposal tickets at the fee in effect until September 30 and wish to exchange them for tickets at the fee from October 1, contact the Resource Recycling Promotion Division (019-626-3733) (no cash refunds)
- Items whose longest side is 3 m or more, or items that two adults cannot carry, cannot be collected
- Items longer than 1 m are Oversized Items (items 1 m or shorter are Non-burnable Garbage)
- You can also bring it yourself to the Recycling Center (32-5 Ohinata, Kawamata, Morioka; 019-685-2151) for 50 yen per 10 kg or part thereof
