“Japan Garbage Disposal Encyclopedia” is an information site that compiles official garbage disposal guidelines from local municipalities in an easy-to-understand format.
We aim to help those who are confused about garbage sorting and disposal rules, including people who have recently moved, elderly residents, and foreign nationals living in Japan.

We plan to expand our coverage to additional areas in the future.
