Important Notes
- It cannot be put out as regular (burnable) or non-burnable garbage (vacuum cleaners are oversized items)
- Remove any dry-cell or button batteries attached to the unit and put them out on the non-burnable waste collection day (cover both terminals of button batteries with cellophane tape or similar)
- For rechargeable models (lithium batteries etc.), discharge and insulate a removable battery, then take it to the Environmental Policy Division counter (main building 2F, counter 5) or an electronics retailer / recycling cooperating store (drop-off collection, free). If it is hard to remove, do not force it apart; put the unit out as oversized waste
- Take a swollen or deformed lithium battery or similar directly to the Senboku Clean Center, or bring it to the Environmental Policy Division counter
- It will not be collected if it differs from what you applied for or if the disposal ticket cannot be confirmed
