Important Notes
Collection schedules and sorting rules may change. Please check the official website for the latest information.
- From October 1, 2026, oversized items are collected door-to-door by advance reservation (for a fee). The twice-a-year collection at oversized garbage stations ended in the first half of fiscal 2026
- The door-to-door collection fee is 2,200 yen per collection (up to 100 kg in total, no limit on the number of items). Households consisting only of elderly people or only of people with disabilities pay 1,100 yen
- Eligible items are those used at home measuring 50 cm × 50 cm × 80 cm or more. Items inside the home cannot be collected (consult a collection company licensed by Susono City)
- Bringing it yourself to the Beautification Center or similar facilities also requires a fee from October 1, 2026 (330 yen for up to 30 kg per visit, plus 110 yen for every additional 10 kg)
