Important Notes
Collection schedules and sorting rules may change. Please check the official website for the latest information.
- Button batteries cannot be put out at garbage collection points, and the ward's dry-cell collection points do not accept them either
- Batteries with model code CR or BR are coin-type lithium batteries, not button batteries: insulate them with tape and take them to the ward's dry-cell collection points (if that is difficult, put them out on non-burnable garbage day in a see-through bag, separated from other non-burnable garbage)
- For button batteries that participating stores do not accept, consult the ward's Recycling and Sanitation Division (リサイクル清掃課)
