Important Notes

Collection schedules and sorting rules may change. Please check the official website for the latest information.

  • Items over 30 cm on any side are oversized garbage (apply in advance online or by phone)
  • Items that contain materials other than plastic cannot go out as plastic products; put them out as burnable or non-burnable garbage depending on the material
  • Never put items with a built-in rechargeable battery out as plastic products, because of the fire risk. If the battery cannot be removed, put the item out as non-burnable garbage (under 30 cm) or oversized garbage (30 cm or more)
  • Put removed dry-cell batteries out as non-burnable garbage
  • Cover the terminals of removed rechargeable batteries with vinyl tape or similar. Batteries with the recycling mark that are not swollen or damaged go in the small rechargeable battery recycling box at stores; batteries without the mark or swollen ones go in a clear or semi-transparent bag marked "battery" as non-burnable garbage
