Disposal Steps

1. This item is covered by the Home Appliance Recycling Law; the town does not take it back directly and does not accept it as oversized garbage
2. Have it taken back by the store where you bought it, or by the store where you buy a replacement
3. If you do not know the store where you bought it, or it is closed or far away, consult a cooperating retailer or a retailer belonging to the national electrical appliance retailers' association
4. If you bring it to a designated collection site yourself, pay the recycling fee at a post office
