  3. To use city collection, put it out as Hazardous Waste (non-mercury items ㋑) in a transparent or semi-transparent bag of 45 liters or less with a 100-yen disposal ticket attached

Important Notes

  • Swollen or deformed rechargeable batteries cannot be put out as Hazardous Waste. A swollen smartphone can be taken to the city's free collection points for lithium-ion batteries and similar items (up to 3 per day)
