  • From October 1, 2026, items that do not fit in a designated 45-liter bag are oversized garbage (until September 30, items exceeding 30 cm on any dimension). Items in a bag whose top cannot be tied properly are also oversized garbage
  • From October 1, 2026, logs thicker than 10 cm are non-burnable garbage even if they fit in the bag. Logs that do not fit in the bag are oversized garbage, and logs larger than 180 cm × 15 cm × 15 cm cannot be collected
  • Only if you cannot obtain designated bags, you may use a colorless transparent or semi-transparent bag with a paper reading "可燃ごみ" (burnable garbage) attached or the words written directly on it (temporary measure from May 25 through October 30 (Fri), 2026). From November 2 (Mon), 2026, use designated bags. The city asks residents to plan to use up, no later than October 30 (Fri), 2026, any colorless transparent or semi-transparent bags already bought for the temporary measure, or to use them for other purposes
