Disposal Steps

  • From October 1, button batteries and rechargeable batteries (such as lithium-ion batteries) also go out as Hazardous Waste on the same day (coin batteries are already collected on the same day as dry-cell batteries until September 30)
  • Damaged, swollen or deformed batteries cannot be put out at collection points; take them directly to the Asamizodai Recycle Square, Hashimotodai Recycle Square or Tsukui Clean Center
