Disposal Steps

- Sort by type and put in a clear or translucent bag
- From October 1, put it out at the waste and resource collection point by 8:30 a.m. on "PET Bottles and Hazardous Waste" day (once a week)

- From October 1, 2026, rechargeable batteries such as lithium-ion, nickel-metal hydride and nickel-cadmium batteries (including mobile batteries) are collected at collection points as Hazardous Waste (until September 30, they cannot be put out at collection points; use store collection boxes or take them to the three city facilities)
- Damaged, swollen or deformed batteries cannot be put out at collection points; take them directly to the Asamizodai Recycle Square, Hashimotodai Recycle Square or Tsukui Clean Center
- Never mix them with general garbage or Plastics; they can cause fires in collection trucks
